Windows XP: The Internet Connection Wizard
This document explains how to set up your computer for FullNet
Internet using the Internet Connection Wizard. The ICW will
create a dialup connection and configure Outlook Express to use
your FullNet e-mail account.
- From your desktop, click Start, then Run. In the "Open" box that appears, type: inetwiz and press enter or click OK.

- Select Connect using my phone line as your method of getting online, then click Next.

- Enter the FullNet Internet dial-up access number, then click Next. Unless you intend to dial long-distance (FullNet will NOT be responsible for your long-distance charges), you do NOT need to enter an area code!

- Enter your FullNet account username and password. Unless you specified otherwise, your username and password will be lowercase.

- For Connection Name, enter FullNet and click Next.

- When asked "Do you want to set up an Internet mail account now?", select Yes and click Next.

- At this point, you may be asked if you want to create a new mail account on this computer. If so, select that option, then Next. When it asks for your Display name, enter your name the way you want it to appear when someone receives an email from you. We suggest simply using your first and last name. Once you have filled this in, click Next.

- For E-mail address:, enter in your FullNet e-mail address (username@fullnet.net), then click Next.

- Next, you will be asked to provide details about your incoming and outgoing mail servers.
- Your incoming mail server is a POP3 server.
- The address of both incoming and outgoing mail servers is the same: mail.fullnet.net.
Click Next.

- You will be asked for Internet Mail Logon information next. Your Account name is just your FullNet username. As before, your username and password are lowercase unless otherwise specified. Do not select "Log on using Secure Password Authentication." Click Next.

- On the last screen, click Finish to complete the setup and save the changes. Your computer is now configured to dial up to the Internet when you open a program that requires it, like Internet Explorer or Outlook Express.
